As we've discussed before, I favor making it easier for US employers to hire workers, specially those with skills that our economy needs. I'm even willing to offer some path to a legal status for young people who were brought here by their parents.
However, I want Congress to pass a law and a president to sign it. It is not a good idea, specially a president who got 50.7% of the popular vote to push his weight around like this. He will divide rather than unify the nation.
